CAROLE IS READY TO HOST THE LAST GP OF THE 2022 SEASON

Carole (France), 13 October 2022 – Following the Grand Prix of Lombardia (Italy) hold on the 25 of September , second last Grand Prix of the season , this weekend the battle for the  Supermoto world title will take place on the beautiful International Circuit of Carole  on the outskirts of Paris. The track is a combination of long straights and three off-road sections that make it very special and selective as well as spectacular.

There is a lot of interest in this GP where the World and European champions will be crowned, mostly because only few points separate the contenders.

The focus will be on the duel for the title of the S1GP class where the leader Marc-Reiner Schmidt (L30 Racing / TM Factory) will try to maintain his leadership until the last checkered flag and become world champion for the second time in a row. It is not an easy situation especially after that the Austrian Lukas Hollbacher (Ktm MTR Team) won the previous GP in Italy. Hollbacher, with a very strong performance, reduced the gap from the German leader  to only ten points. Carole’s results will be crucial to crown  the new king of Supermoto World Championship.

Following Hollbacher we found the multi time World Champion SMX ASD Thomas Chareyre, with a gap of 13 points from Schmidt and only three from the second position of Hollbacher. Chareyre will have all his home soils fans cheering for him and pushing him to a solid victory.

Fourth position is for the Italian rider Elia Sammartin (L30 Racing/TM Factory) who will do his best to reach the final podium.

Other riders that will try improve their final position in this last race of the season are the Czech rider Milan Sitniansky (Tuning Motorsport – Honda) actually in fifth position in front of the French Rookie Axel Marie Luce (TC4R1 Racing Team – TM).

As well as in the S1GP in the Rookies Cup the first three riders are separated by only 6 points. The leader Marie Luce has only one point of advantage over the other French rider Catherine (Gazza Racing Red Moto), and 6 over the Belgian Romain Kaivers (SMX ASD – TM).

Carole will held also the final round of the SM Junior European Cup. Leader  is the Spanish Ramon Godino (Yamaha) followed by the Czech rider Matej Kokes (Husqvarna). The two riders are separated by only 2 points and the third position is for the Estonian Mathias Vetkin (TM). The fight for the podium includes the Estonian Rasmus Ebelmann (Husqvarna).
