MARCO MALONE S4 EUROPEAN CUP 2021 WINNER

Martigny (Switzerland), 03 November 2021 – Marco Malone italian young rider from Bellante (Teramo) born in 1998 is the first S4 European Cup winner, the new 2021 only asphalt class.

Malone said: “ I started my career with mini bikes at 5 and my first Italian Championship at 8. In the following three years I raced in the MiniGP tricolor, then in the Honda HIRP project. In 2013 I finished 2nd in the Italian GP 125-250cc. In 2015-2016-2017-2018 I raced in the Civ Supersport and in the Supersport 600 World Championship, always training with my motard with which I decided in 2020 to race with Team BRT. In 2021, thanks to the great work of the Frt Racing 2 Team, I managed to win my first Italian and European title. The S4 Cup season started in the best possible way with a splendid pole position in the first round of Ortona and then reconfirmed in the first heat with a magnificent victory. The second round of Forcarei equally splendid, also characterized by a pole position and two incredible victories. The last round in Castelletto di Branduzzo was a bit more difficult, but despite this I managed to take home the second title of the season.”

Gilda Benazzi Team Principal comments on the victory as follows: ” We have achieved both the goals we had set ourselves. The weekend in Castelletto was very demanding but we still managed to realize and take home the title with Marco Malone. We thank all our sponsors and supports for this year full of satisfactions. Now let’s not waste time and get to work for the 2022 season.”
