ALPINA & XIEM EXTEND THEIR RELATIONSHIP
Martigny (Switzerland) 10 May 2018 – XIEM and Alpina, the Italian leading Company in the production of spokes, nipples and tubeless wheels are pleased to announce that their partnership agreement for the SuperMoto European Championship and Supermoto of Nations has been renewed also for this year.
Founded in 1926 by Guido Cappellotto as a factory of spokes and nipples for bycicles and motorcycles, the Company moves to Arcore (1935) and then to Lomagna (1990), where it is currently located.
In 2005 the developement of an innovative and revolutionary Tubeless System for motorcycles spoked wheels leads to a series of successes in the Supermoto competitions. Among riders and end users, the Alpina brand becomes a synonimous of top quality, taylor-made tubeless wheels.
After more than 90 years Alpina Raggi is still a family-run business which has now reached its fourth generation. However, the deep roots in the local territory and the intimate link with the tradition did not prevent the expansion towards the global market, where the Alpina brand is still recognized as a symbol of high quality and Italian excellence.
